Nicola’s legal career spans over 4 decades including 20 years spent in professional law firm management and compliance during which time Nicola was part of the working party for the Law Society's new Law Management Section and became its first Chair in the late 1990s. She also served almost 2 terms on the Law Society Council, and membership of several of its boards and committees. Nicola served as training principal and COLP to a large multi -branch practice in London and the South East for over 14 years where she was involved in strategic planning and acquisition, and also championed equality and diversity, securing recognition and national awards for the practice in that sphere.
In recent years, Nicola has returned to fee earning roles within private client, latterly specialising in probate and administration of estates of all sizes and complexities and including contested estates and trusts, and disputed Wills.
