An Isle of Wight Festival manager and former police officer and has been found not guilty of rape.

David Steele, 47, was accused of raping a woman he invited back to his flat after a night of drinking in Cowes, which he denied.

He went on trial at Chichester Crown Court last week and yesterday (Monday) jurors delivered a not guilty verdict.
